| While
SigFit itself is executed
from a command line, the inputs to SigFit
may be supplied via an input file with a
simple command in a command window.
In order to assist the
user in easily generating this input file,
Visual SigFit is provided
as a standard feature. Since Visual SigFit
does not check for the presence of a license,
it may be used with the free-ware feature
in SigFit.
Creating New
Files
Visual SigFit is a Windows
style program which runs a file creation
wizard. The wizard is divided into several
sections delimited by tabs as shown by the
selectable screen shots to the left.
Based on the user inputs,
appropriate screens will display as the
user picks Next. Once the wizard is complete
the user may save the file to be used in
executing SigFit with a
command line command.
Editing Old
Files
Previously saved input files may be loaded
into Visual Sigfit for
modification and rewriting. This aids the
user in generating and input file for a
different analysis type without having to
redefine what can be extensive amounts of
input such as surface definitions.
